Work got underway on a project in the centre of Ashbourne, Derbyshire this. A small garden room extension on a VERY tight site.
Russell White and his guys have made an excellent start and job of keeping the site and the surrounding area tidy and useable by the neighbours.
We’re nearly there at the kitchen extension to a house in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The kitchen is in just the final bits and pieces now. The kitchen units are to be painted next week and all being well it will be all finished and working before the baby arrives.

New build timber frame - Super Insulated - House, Ashbourne Derbyshire.
The roof is on and is coming off again, Building Control not happy with it, we’re not happy with it and our Main Contractor is not happy with it. The timber frame guys, Advanced Timber Frame of Glossop, have made a right mess of it and it’s pretty much all got to come off and be re-done. The Main Contractor has agreed with the Timber Frame site agent that they will do it rather than getting the bunch that made this mess back again. Such a simple task done very badly is pretty impressive really.
Extension on the house in Duffield, Derbyshire. Is now watertight and the guys a proceeding at pace with the internal alterations. Log burner guy has thrown a spanner in the works, why do salesmen ALWAYS have to demonstrate how incredibly clever they are when they don’t actually know what they are talking about
The plastering is complete at Manor Lodge, Ashbourne. Granite is going on kitchen and the decorating is up and running. Baby due next week better a get a shift on lads
week 5, and having missed 5 delivery dates and now 2 weeks late. Advanced Timber Frame finally deliver the timber frame. The erectors have the ground floor up in just under a day. Now we wait for the steel.
Week 13 at Manor Lodge, Ashbourne and the decoration is well underway. Stone paving down and Drystone wall going up. Nearly there guys, nearly there.
Work cracks on at The Broadway, Duffield project. Week 5 and the roof is going on, the windows have been delivered and the door is gone!
